The brief

Client need & context

In the absence of a pantry or dedicated storage area, dry goods, small appliances, and household products were spread across several parts of the kitchen, creating a constant impression of disorder. The project aimed to reunify storage in order to restore clarity, legibility, and overall standing to the space.

Design constraints

Constraints that shaped the project

  • No pantry-style storage
  • Multiplication of storage areas
  • Visually cluttered worktops
  • Need to improve both use and aesthetics simultaneously
💡

Editorial note — Key decision

  • Creation of a full-height storage wall
  • Integration of internal drawers and specialised compartments
  • Provision of dedicated spaces for small appliances
  • Clearing of the worktops through centralised storage
Scope

What was included

🪵

Furniture & fittings

A complete modular kitchen incorporating a full-height pantry run, designed to centralise food storage, small appliances, and daily essentials within a restrained and structured composition. The scheme combined White wall units, Light Vicenza Oak base units, and a black Nero Galaxy granite worktop, creating a contrast that feels crisp, elegant, and timeless.

Furniture cost: ~ 3.5M FCFA
📋

Project manager coordination

The project manager oversaw the coordination of all works related to the creation of this large storage volume, including layout planning, installation supervision, adjustment of interior fittings, and control of final finishes. This direction made it possible to restore a kitchen that feels more ordered, more serene, and markedly higher in perceived quality.
